Adgrafix Pay and Benefits Survey 2006/2007


The Adgrafix pay and benfits survey provides information on salaries across the retail sector. In total, 1899 valid submissions were collected from well over 2,000 original respondees. The majority of respondents worked in area management, store management or head office positions, although data was collected against all job types, irrelevant of base size. As such, this survey provides a comprehensive, up-to-date and accurate overview of the salaries and benefits currently being provided to today’s retail employees.

This survey looked at current salary levels, bonus amounts, benefits enjoyed, line management responsibilities, store/area turnovers where appropriate, workplace type, geographic area and industry sector. In addition the names of current employers were collected and re-classified to enable like-for-like comparisons within industry sectors.

The survey comprises of:

  • A position-by-position overview of the twenty top roles
  • Benefit information tables
  • Industry specific tables, comprising:
    • Overview tables
    • Region tables
    • Store type tables
    • Employer type tables
  • Tables listing all the employers named by respondents

The survey is available as a hard copy, 93 page bound document. The cost for the document, including posting is £490 + VAT.
